I would like to see a photo of your chassis set up.
A club member has one and we are struggling to get it running smooth.

I have the MR Slotcar Mclaren too and with a few tweaks, it runs really well!

Basically, the front tyres touch the inside of the wheel arches, so I fitted Slot.it ultra low profile front tyres, (15x8 I think they are), and NSR Ultragrips on the rear. I also have about 5 grammes of Dark Matter tungsten putty just behind the guide and it runs better than I can drive!

This is mine. It is set up for the upcoming Canada Slot Car Proxy. It is the red car with only the white painted on.

Well I'll add mine to the display

But my MR Slotcar Mazda 787b just set my track lap record and with somebody else driving it.

Hi Modelerbob, can I ask what configuration your MR Mazda is please? Is it inline, A/W or S/W and which motor do you have in there? Thanks and sorry for the thread hi-jack.

It is as it comes from the factory, inline and their black endbell motor.

Thanks, I changed mine to A/W and used an NSR King Evo 2, and it runs really nicely, but I have a hankering to return it to the way Ernie sent it from the factory. It's not going to beat the Moslers, but it can be quite satisfying running an essentially stock car that runs well.

Those high rpm and torque long can motors are a bit too much for a track that has only a 12' main straight in my opinion. Maybe on a 100'+ track where the straights are longer I would prefer their use.-

Well my MR Mazda is now back to stock spec. apart from a little tungsten putty behind the guide and a little lead between the motor and rear axle. Looking forward to trying it out on Monday evening!
