best magnet upgrade for SCX

has anyone got a recommended magnet upgrade for the scx cars to stick to the Carrera Go track. My kids are still too young to go w/o any magnet,, and the stock scx slides right out of the turns.

Can you stack a second magnet on top of the original one and then put some "shoe goo" on the sides to keep them together as this will increase the total magnetism. Reduce track voltage while they run, this will slow the cars down. You could also try running smaller diameter tires. This moves the magnet closer to the metal braids thus increasing the magnetic pull. Maybe do all three?

SCX compact? you are in the wrong forum section Scalextric is NOT SCX they are 2 different company's & they (Scalextric) don't make 1/43 slot cars

As for the SCX cars they run with lower voltage then Carrera Go so you either reduce voltage for SCX cars or use the magnet from the Go cars (hot glue works good)
