Thanks for the info Mitch. I don't think I've seen the newer version in person. If you have it with you at the next race would you let me take a look?

The old front motored cobra has much wider tires than the newer one on the sebring chassis. I think the older cobra is probably 12mm wide and fairly tall and the wheel has probably a 5 or 6mm flange on it. The newer one probably has 8mm wide tires. Right now I have 7mm tires on the stock rims of the newer car and they fit fine. Any of your tires the are 7 or 8mm wide with a 3mm wide flange will fit the newer Cobra, the old one is the odd size.

Maybe you can help me with the clarification here?

The tires we reproduce for the MRRC AC Cobra are a full slick. From our records I believe we molded these tires from a pair we got from you. I have one of the old MRRC Cobras with the original 5 spoke wheels and it came with tires that have an eight straight rib type tread design. I test fitted our tires to the old style wheels and they fit. Our full slick tires are just hair shorter than the ribbed tires, maybe 1mm shorter at the most. Do you remember if the tires you gave us to mold were off the newer AC Cobra, or were they sanded down from the older AC Cobra?
