  • Tech help with Lane Gate Double

I've had 4 of the doubles for a couple months now, no issue until today.

I have 1 Lane Gate LED that no longer works and the lane changer on that side also no longer works. The other LED / Changer works just as it always has. Wiring looks good...anything else to check?

What voltage are you running at?

15 volts. Power taps installed both before the isolated track and after the solenoids.

Can you boost to 16V and give it a try? I expect it will still fail but worth the try to be sure.

I will do so tonight and report back.

Have you moved, replaced, or taken apart any other track sections when this occurred?

I suggest running the test procedure found at the end of the installation instructions. Testing the lane changer when separated from the rest of your track will clarify if the problem is within the lane changer itself or a loss of detection zone isolation in the rest of the track.

Bench tested with a spare black box both with / without detection zone track.

The other 3 I installed still doing very well

Kidvoltage has helped me out. I appreciate it
