  • Jump the Shark! - RMS comes to DRS

We've added the 30K @ 12V RMS replacement motor for Carrera 124 scale cars.

It's pretty much a drop in replacement. De-solder/resolder the wires, swap the pinion and go - a lot faster. Draws less current too.

    Available on the web site.

Great. Always good to have another source of a great motor. I have 5 RMS 1/24 Carrera cars and growing. ~Ron

Drewbert34, we'll see about getting the current rating. My understanding is that 6 of these can race at the same time.

          Per the distributor:

No load amp draw at 4.55 volts @10,679 RPM is 0.195 amp

It's recommended to set your speed setting at about 4. Those with the reflexes of a hummingbird can probably try a higher setting.

Love these motors Put them in all my 1/24 carrera cars really spice things up. Kidvoltage I love That those with the reflexes of a hummingbird can probably try a higher setting
4 is a pretty ideal setting we do run higher on occasion but most of my group aren't hummingbirds so I do have a baggy of parts that have been broken off many a car.
