  • Clips or Cables?

We've recently acquired a LARGE volume of track clips for Carrera. Here's an example:

These clips are perfect for attaching to Carrera track in fact we use them for our Lane Gate product. They snap right into place and hold their tension.

Given the opportunity would you prefer to buy jumper cables with clips or would you prefer to just buy the clips and make your own cables?

I'd probably just get clips because I'd want to make them the perfect length without having to cut and re-solder and potentially waste wire.

I agree with Flip on just clips.I can always come across wire that will work.

I concur with the previous two posts.
Although, I might be as interested in them if you had 6-9" pigtails on them allowing me to just tie them into my system with a nut and avoid the soldering step.

Edit: I see them on your website. I'll place an order tomorrow.

Just finished installation of my Lane Gates last night. I am adding power taps and painting the track as I go.

If you race with ghost cars and don't have Lane Gates, you're missing out! As is mentioned in the instructions, power taps are important!

That being said, I did my power taps the "cram the wire in the rail" way for now. I'm sure my track will go through several iterations, so I ordered some clips just now for the future
