It's just that sometimes I know that people look at stuff I post, but this has nothing to do with slotcars. However, I think it's one of the finest performances I've heard on YouTube.

Good one Paul.
Alison Krausse is my go to music when I'm at the work bench trying to make a proxy car go fast (there, I've made it slot car relevant). I started listening to bluegrass many years ago because of her...voice of an angel with true, pure music...bluegrass, the poor man's classical music.
Thanks, that was worth turning up the speakers for.
I remember seeing ELP at the Vancouver Colosseum in the mid 70's, when they were touring Brain Salad Surgery. That was, coincidentally, the era of Quadraphonic albums. So they had this marvelous live audio ending - in a hockey rink, not famed for its' sound at the best of times - where Karn Evil 9 completed the concert, with the final sound slowly developing in circles around the auditorium. Just awesome. I still have their albums.
