Slot-it angle winder gears

I set up my Ninco NSX with the SIKK-09 it works great!!!! But when I tried the SIGA-28 (28t) spur gear and the SIGA-30 (30t) spur gear with 12t pinion they do not mesh together. To far apart. Has Any of ya guys tried this set up.
