Besides the Slot.it V12, which has a special adapter, what motor can be dropped into an SCX WRC car? I believe I need a longer drive shaft than normal? What about an OZrace or Proslot EVO?

I'm not sure what you are asking, but it has dual direct 4 wheel drive on a single shaft coming out both ends of the motor, right? Something like this: </br><img border=0 src="http://slotcarillustrated.com/Cars/AASubaru/chassis.jpg" /></br>If so, you might try using the drive shaft spring, used on front motor cars like the Corvette, to accomplish what you want. -
SCX sells a Pro-Turbo motor that is much faster than the stock motor.
with a long break in period the stock motor will get faster and the car will quiet down a good bit.Comment

Thanks, I would be happy to run it as a 2-wheel drive. However, its that long drive shaft. Is it a Fly Corvette you're referring to? Also, what are the rpm's on the Pro Turbo upgrade?Comment

SCX 50190 is 4x4 pro turbo 18,000 rpm at unknown voltage
SCX 50210 is 2wd pro turbo 19,00 rpm at unknown voltage
after break in these motors are as fast as standard scalex/fly motors. not speed demons but fast.
by the by.........if you did a poll you find lotsa racers like the SCX Rally cars without the magnet. stock motors are plenty fast and the cars slide in an easily controlled, lurid, fashion.Comment
