I have done away with the old topic and created this topic anew. There was so many pages of old problems that all have been rectified (and were mostly due to the old servers). This will give us a more concise area to monitor problems.

Thanks Russ great idea, and a reminder to all please if possible clearly document the problem or error code you got, this helps in hunting down the issues.

Yeah, and in another forum I just tried scrolling through pages and no problem, so that seems fixed also.

Plus, I saw some pictures getting successfully posted (by Kevan I think it was) so it will be good to hear back from Russell or Alan as to whether all seems 'back to normal' from their view of the board.

Well, I can Edit and Flag posts as ever, there are other issues to sort when there's time. Still can't Move or Merge posts, for instance. But priority for Alan this last while has been running his Retail and Distribution centre, single-handed. And upgrading his website etc.

Personally, although I don't care about 'Likes' I would like to see everybody able to Flag a post, I think that's the way the board should work. As it is, I'm the guy currently who does this most of the time, and Alan usually responds very quickly.

Please keep any questions about moderators or moderator abilities off of the forum and leave those in private messages to Alan. Those are not open conversations for everyone to see, and really they need to only be between the individual and Alan. Thank you for your understanding.

Glad to see that my changes have fixed the site. That was a bit annoying.

There was a glitch and user error. I have backup copies of the old topic's latest entries, but that topic was accidentally destroyed, and frankly restoring it would be a monster pain in the butt. Thus the new topic named the same as its predecessor.

This is a rather heavy response. Paul and I share more than ten years of personal friendship and (some may say questionable...) humour on this forum. I was not questioning anybody’s abilities: I was sharing a joke with a friend as we have mutually done hundreds of times over the years. I seriously don’t understand why you think my post was critical or inappropriate. Maybe if you had been around the forum for longer you would have known that nastiness is emphatically not in my nature.

I meant to quote Nico and not you, so that was my bad. But please understand, I was only asking that posts that deal with questioning about moderators and moderator abilities not be posted publicly on the forum. Those should be directed at Alan directly. It was not intended as critical but was a reminder to all that like it or not... them be the rules. These responses is primarily why I stopped doing anything on this forum, the petty nature of people. This forum, like it or not, is only here because of Alan and his webstore. Everything here will reflect on Alan and his business.

I have been using the site for many years. Now, I have been using Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10, and within the last 2-3 weeks, when I go to log on, it just hangs up.

Has something changed to exclude IE11?
