Tho or Dave....Did you take that shifter mechanism apart to clean it or just clean it the best you could? Christmas tree mechanism seems to just pop apart, When you guys put it back together did it require any adhesive at all?

Other than the removal of the shifter handle no other disassembly was necessary. So cleaning all of the electrical contact points was all the maintenance that my unit required.
However the “Christmas tree” on my unit was another story as the mount for the twelve volt motor was broken in an number of pieces, some missing. So I had perform some major surgery to get it back in working order.
