Motor Tests

Rob & Dave, tested your motors and results weren't good. :sorry:

One of you has an RPM problem and one of you has a torque issue. :(

Each of your motor test results are highlighted in yellow. I included some recent tests of other motors for comparison.

Great to see you are posting motor test data.
That is always useful and interesting.

Looking at the torque data, I think there is something wrong with the calaculation or maybe how it is being translated.
All of your torque values are roughly half of the manufacturers claim.
Is it possible the values were extrapolated for the motors peak efficiency which is half max rpm?
Or is this not measured as 'stall torque'?

I believe you have to double the number as you pointed out, I forgot about that. :o:

Rob, just put it in a very light car that wont need much torque. Maybe a Mini or a Abarth.

Dave, your motor has an easy fix. All you need is some slot-it 'orange' paint and you've got yourself a useable motor for a 22K and under race. :lol::lol:
