With Qualifying taking place today (Sunday) for the 100th Indy 500 in Indianapolis, USA, where they will be trying to beat the 233 mph average for 4 Laps track record, there is two days to go before DHORC’s 24th running of our very own Indy 500.
Simon Goodlip currently holds the 4 Lap Adult qualifying record of 28.23 seconds (12.607 mph) and single Lap record of 6.84 seconds (13.01 mph) with Adam Hall the Junior records of 29.05 seconds (12.252 mph) and 7.07 seconds (12.590 mph) around our 130’ 6” 10-Lane version of the track.
Josh Roythorne took his first ever DHORC win in the Adults last year while there will be a new Junior winner this year.
With the Finals beginning at 7pm we need to complete the 4 x 1 minute Qualifying on the four coloured Lanes before then so please be there by 630pm at the latest please so we can get everyone qualified.
