Mid-Atlantic slot car fans: the next Interstate Home Slot Racers (IHSR) event is on Saturday, 12/2 at a member's home in Chambersburg, Pa. We'll be running on a fantastic 4 lane routed layout.
Race report from our 11/18 event in Darnestown, MD is here:

With 8 racers at that event, that was one of our smaller fields. We average 10 to 14 guys, and are always looking for new members. You'll not find a better bunch of guys to race with!!! We always have loaner cars and controllers available for guys wanting to try us out before they buy/build class legal cars of their own.
Typical race day is host opens home around 8 am for practice/tuning/bench racing. The first of 4 classes we run start around 10 am. After running 2 classes, we break for pizza lunch (the only expense to race is to kick in $5 for the pizza...if you don't eat it...you owe nothing! But in that case bring something to eat), then run the last two classes. Things usually wind up with folks on their way home by 3 to 3:30. At host's discretion, and time and interest permitting, there may be an IROC race after the final class is run.
