Martin's Tran-Am Challenger (or was it a 'Cuda?) was on fire! Marty raced his 'Cuda that he purchased from Mike Isles from NJ Speedzone, another on fire car. that car had some issues near the race end, so Marty switched cars, giving him the 2nd place finish. Mike chased them down with his Camaro. So that was the Trans-Am race. Charlie and I had our own "big Chevy" Vintage Classics race. Charlie raced his newly built (finished the night before by his Dad George) '62 Chevy Impala, painted with real auto gold paint, I raced my (even bigger!) '70 Chevy Impala. We had our own race, and it was a crowd pleaser. George was inspired by my '70 Chevy, so he built the '62. With all of the interest in these 2 cars, I hope to see more built in the future. Maybe with some Nascar decals we can get the Vintage Nascar class started.

Our next monthly races will be Saturday Feb 22 and Saturday March 22 at The Race Place.
