Fri. Night @ A/K (new guys) 10/11/13
The new guys were ready to get some laps in on Friday night. The new timer was hooked up and working before the flag dropped in the shop.
We decided to start with the 1/32 sportcars (Cerrera Mercedes, and a BMW thrown in there)
Casey - 17, 18, 15, 18, 18, 15 - 101
Greg - 17, 16, 17, 11, 18, 16 - 95
Stephan - 18, 15, 15, 15, 14, 18 - 95
- forgot to mark the cars after the race to rule out a tie. Whoops!
Next up were the WOMPS!! (Standard Steel WOMP's with a mixture of bodies to play with. Added magnets as the original Deathstar motor's are still in there. We'll eventually change them all, just waiting on an order)
Casey - 24, 24, 21, 22, 26, 18 - 135
Stephan - 25, 22, 23, 20, 18, 23 - 131
Greg - 17, 20, 23, 19, 19, 18 - 116
A run what ya brung ended the night, but no official numbers were taken down. Some nice paint was shown off, and was rubbed off a bit as hot laps turned into some heated racing. Good racing by all, as this 'series' gets started. Thanks all that showed! - see ya next week.

I'll grab some pics next time I'm not marshalling or doing something to the track itself.
