  • Thank You LL SSR gang

I want to personally make this open letter thank you to the folks of the Lake Lanier Scale Slot Racers for everything they did to help with the BRM SouthEast Regional races at SlingShot Speedway. Every member of this amazing group of guys is as nice of a person as one could hope to meet.

SouthernSloter was very gracious in helpng to sort out the Alabama Slot Car StormTroopers' BRM cars. Jason also helped out tremendously in this area. Meanwhile, I was being coached by Zoom Beedo as to how to run my BRM car along with a DiFalco controller. The controller was lent to me by SouthernSloter to help me improve my no-mag racing.

Jorge spent a lot of time during the open test 'n' tune marshalling for the rest of us. Mark Azaragga, tested all of my cars and gave me many tips and advice on how to work on the cars.

In addition, I got to know BatmanJack, Phil (Deepsouth14), Sy and Chad better than when we were over for an enduro iin March 2008.

One last HUGE THANK YOU to Klaus for tech inspection and marshalling despite not running in the race at all. Klaus is a very classy gentleman and his quiet, calm presence is always reassuring.

    Ya'll are simply the best!!!!!

    KIITS,
    Lawrence

    Thank You Lawrence!

    LP,

You were a big part in making this one of the best races that I've been a part of.
The can holders, Banners and what guy would bring SIX BRM's to loan out to other racers? Lawrence, that's who!
We hope to see you guys soon. How bout next week?
Keep the DiFalco as long as you need to.

    SS

I have to agree with George, you were a very large part of the success of this event, Lawrence, and we all appreciate your efforts. That was a great car you loaned me. We had a great time racing with you and even more fun with the benchracing afterwards.

BTW, that Dremel we found did belong to Steve. It's at SlingShot now. Guess I should have given it to you Saturday evening. If you're not going to be over this way soon, I'll just send it to him.

It was great seeing you guys again, even though it was very brief.
