The Gracious Ferrari Owners and Entrants Association, unlike the Pugnacious Porscheophiles, believe the lovely and FAST Slot.It Ferrari 312PB should be in the pool of prizes for selection by ANYONE, if they are in the top 55 places, and this prize has not been claimed by any other owner/entrant. That is, the Ferrari is NOT reserved for Ferrari owners or entrants. It is to be offered as a prize that could be won by the first place guy; and if he doesn't want it, then the second place guy could take it, and so on, to last place.
That is the proposal of the Gracious and Mature Ferrari Owners and Entrants Association, whch stands in stark contrast to the Pugnacious Porscheophiles, who have reserved FOR THEMSELVES the beautiful, if you don't mind the errors in contour, Fly Porsche 917K. To say nothing of the reknowned Fly craftsmanship in drive train, wheel fitment, and tire chemistry.

Say what you will, RL, the Porsche is a donation from my personal collection, not a gesture of generosity from the coffers of Slot.it. Send The Ferrari Up the track if you cannot appreciate a car with the "qualities" posessed by the Fly Porsche. I already have one of your orphan 917s under my care. Should I be concerned of the welfare of any other Porsches at ENYR?

How can you possibly have an Association if there aren't any qualified members?
Ouch! Thats gonna leave a mark.
Is this the beginning of a manufacturers war? Porsche vs. Ferrari. Which one will earn the bragging rights during the course of the GPR 2007 and finish with the Championship in hand? Gentleman, choose your car wisely.
If we do prize selection starting with the P class winner, then the GT winner, then P 2nd place, GT 2nd, and so on, each entrant picks a prize from the pool, until they are all cl;aimed. Nobody wins more than one prize, unless we have more prizes than entrants. I am assuming only Porsche entrants can select the 917K. But who knows. We have not put much thought into prize distribution methods.
You have one of my orphan 917K's? I have no orphan 917K's. Maybe you took one in trade from DK, my relative, and a Porscheophile?
I did find this well groomed example of the Porsche breed languishing in a dark corner of the ENYR:

Now there's a classic! Nice Carrera there RL. You're right r.e. the 917 Kyalami: it was DaveK's. What got into him that would inspire him to sell it?
The Gulf Porsche is just a little side bet for P-Porsche honours to make things interesting (a la Slot.it Porsche challenge in the RAA) and will go to the highest ranking P-Porsche owner when the race is done.
