I am impressed. I need a new airbrush, and some first class chassis kits.

          Prizes

Wow! I could use an airbrush too. Sure would beat finger painting my entries.

I've just built up one of the beardog chassis kits and it is really good. Pretty straightforward to assemble and performs really well. The Beardog Mini-motor is a real cracker, I would estimate it's performance to be between an NC1 and a good Scalex motor. Highly recommended.

In fact I've built all the chassis on offer and they all perform well.

Andy (ABSlotsport) is looking to extend his range of goods to include more items for our type of racing, especially for the scratchbuilder, (He has traditionaly offered goods for Wing car type racing.)

Good Guy and pretty mean racer.....

              Regards

              Alan

SpirtRacer has two of these. We play Cops and Robbers daily. They are very cool with the working lights. You know one of his Cop cars has been upgraded with Slot-it parts. For a heavy car they can be very fast.

                    GPR Prizes...RS Slot Racing

RS Slot Racing.com have generously donated 3 gift certificates in the amounts of 10, 15, and 25 Pounds! I know I'm not the only one that will be excited at the prospect of being able to win these and selects from that huge selection of Ortmann's they sell.

Thanks to Alan Tadd for helping out with this prize as well.

                    • That's great support! Good for you, Alan.

I don't think there are any US/Cdn SCI Sponsors who carry Ortmanns, and I know BeeJay7 has recommended these folks before now.

                      So many thanks to

RS Slot Racing in the U.K. importer for Speedy Weasel slot car tyres. Hand made in Germany to the original Weasel racing specification, by Michael Ortmann, these tyres offer superb levels of grip for racing, not only for modern slot cars, but also for putting life back into your collectable historic cars.

                      • Wow! I just revisited this thread and can't believe all the prizes collected. Many thanks need to go out to the donors as the seemingly never ending saga of the first GPR winds to a close.

                        • No doubt, DaveK and his cohorts have lined up quite the prize list there.

By now, some of the cars are probably Collector's Items available only on Ebay ...

And don't forget (cause it's never over until it's over y'know) there's that fabulous Fly 917K for top-distance Porsche Prototype provided from the private collection of Dr Vanski.

Hope springs eternal at the Wet Coast Racing Group, and prospects are good at Wayne's World (who woulda thunk it?). Area 51 was clearly designed for a car with tall gearing or how else would Dickie have done so well there?

Jules Verne couldn't have come up with a proxy series story like this one, and it is far from over, gentlemen.

                          • All the prizes are safe (I hope) in my slot room. There is quite a list of prizes for the race....hopefully soon they will be sent to the winners.

                            • Ok, guys. When I get home tonight I'm going to get all the prizes out and make sure everything is good to go.

The Resilient Resin bodies can be chosen by the Concours winners. The rest are up for grabs.

Lemme give everyone the "ok" to go ahead, when I do feel free to start picking. LMP winner first then GT winner and so on. We have lots of stuff...

                              • Only the concours winners have the skills to tackle the Resilient Resins bodies huh... Now how do I win the airbrush so I can actually do one of those bodies...
