Very nice track and cars Alan - kind of track I hanker after - like the sign a tad faster.......... also kind of cars I now seem to have as well..... kit built, scratch added and generally out of the ordinary...... nice one...
...can be viewed here. I'll be adding photos to each of the host track's gallery as the GPR progresses, so you'll want to bookmark it for sure.
My personal plans include plenty of GPR action over the coming months. I'll be making the 8 hour drive from Toronto to the ENYR in Connecticut for some racing action there with Robert and the boys.
Lots of great tracks for the coming year's GPR competition. Speed or handling...which combination of both will send a car to the front of the pack?
Given Van's "participant only" status in the GPR now, what are the plans for the venue of the last round in Canada? Is Van still going to host this on his Van's Le Mans as stated at the beginning of this thread, or are we looking at a different venue?
We are introducing an additional Connecticut, USA race at the end of the schedule. Dr V has definitely dropped out. Plans are not firm, but his Scalextric track will probably be replaced by Bart's Wings'n'Wheels Scalextric track.
We are still in process of confirming the schedule with some tracks which are on the schedule.
...and since there's a really great pub next to Bart's I think it's more likely than not that wings actually may be part of the race there...good guess on your part Bruce!
Hmmmmmm...better yet, I know Hooters have an area they can close off for private parties. So it'd be wings & brew and the availability of some great "turn marshals" too - I guess I am asking for more.
Though it'd fit in right nicely for my NASCAR proxy...and thankfully I've come up with a 6-turn oval so more marshals - oh, and Kurt, they got them "wipes" so sticky controllers wouldn't be an issue...

Robert, old son --
I'm all for it -- all wired up rarin' to go, in fact -- but when were you gonna tell ME?
BTW, There IS a pub not 39 steps (starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll, directed by Alfred Hitchcock) from the front door of my shop that has, on tap, the usual American swill, but also Harp, Newcastle, Bass, Sam Adams Winter Lager, Stella Artois, and Rolling Rock. Plus giant screen TV and pretty good pub food. Come on down!
