Thanks, Dennis, I tried, but it is not in your league. It may be able to give your's a run on the track though? It will sure be fun to see how the racing goes!

Coming up to lap you is what it is.... (I wish!)

    Nice-looking car, Pete.

GPR Technical Inspector, in consultation with Wet Coast Racing, has decided on a scale model Strap or Bungee Cord approach to the loose body, in keeping with actual practice during the GPR race era.

    Paul,
If the tape works go for it.
If the body is that loose can't it be pinned TSRF style? Are the HRS chassis stubs too short? Thats an easy fix too.
Whats the safety(bailing) wire for? Rear pod screws missing?

I've got tinned braid on my Clarion Nissan. It seems to be holding up just as good or better than the non-tinned stuff.

Woah I feel famous or something!

    Thanks for the pictures Dave!

Pete, I'm not expecting any concourse credit really ... I had bought some inserts that I thought would look right but they didn't fit. The ones that are there now were all I had, and the rears are jammed in with electrical tape around their circumference to keep them from falling out of those big magnesium wheels.

I used Slot.it Tinned Braids (Alan was all out of the fresh ones), it will be interesting to see how they hold up over distance.
Like the duct tape over the magnet, Terry?

Very nice, Wet, love the hieroglyphics on the bottom and the creative use of bailing wire! I am somewhat surprised not to see any chewing gum?! It's probably under the body. I think you will probably get dinged in the concourse judging for using modern wheels in the wrong and staggered sizes, though.

You could give us a shot of Wet's car from below, or just with out the body.
Oh sure Pete, looking to copy my top secret construction methods huh?

You could give us a shot of Wet's car from below, or just with out the body, since it seems to fly off all the time! I think these are some really great shots, Dave must be a pro or something? Here are my favs, the prettier (but not faster) Gulf Capri:

Oh sure, take forever to get your car there, then you want pics of it posted the next day?!
