As the cars are on-route from Italy to England, it's perhaps appropriate to start a new thread.

Firstly.... Welcome to England and more specifically Welcome to the Historic World Heritage City of Bath. Located approx. 100 miles west of London, (that's left to the O'Nuthin Clan.)

Bath is the most popular Tourist destination outside of London. If you want more information then I can recommend these websites:-

Planning to visit Bath? Click for the latest information on Attractions, Events, Accommodation, Shopping, and Eating Out!

There are many more you can search out for yourself.

Bath was said to have been founded in approx. 650 BC by a chap called Bladud, who found that bathing in the hot mud, (natural underground hot water springs), with his pigs cured his leaprosy..........(Yeah right)

    Some images of Bath:-

Ok that's enough of the Tourist Guide bit....The next post will be about the race.....

    Regards

    Alan

Great intro, Alan! I'm really looking forward to your race, not so much because I think my cars will do well, but because I have seen pics of your track it is a great one! Those cars are going to look great going around your circuit, please post lots of pics! And as my friend Bruce would say, have fun!

Alan - Just visited your website...I'll ditto Pete as to what a great track you have both in layout and scenery (though no Bladud and the piggies anywhere to be seen there either ). You also have a great collection of cars...particularly like that Aston Ulster

I'll bet his name was Bacon O'Nuttin.

Ok. Nice track Alan. I'm glad the GPR is off and slotting again.
                  Have fun.

Driver in Smokeio's "vac formed blob" heard from deep inside the shipping crate..."Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" Can't wait for this series to resume.....

Hey, hey, hey, let's not get too personal regarding the driver of my vacuum formed blob.

Drivers lined up and raring to go....Track cleaned (as well as your going to get it....), Lapcounter/Timer checked out...PM controllers ready to control.....tea on the boil......Customs alerted to possibility of the O'Nuthin clan visiting (have they been checked for Rabies?...)......I've even built a "Mongo Pad" for those drivers that use silicone instead of "real tyres"....

Just afraid to leave the house waiting for the UPS/FedEx or whatever to deliver.........
