Way to go, Phil! Congrats as well to Tony and Pete! Hoping for some better Martini action come race day. Good to see Paul and Milo up there as well. Well done guys.

Any driving impressions you'd like to share, Phil? Thanks for posting.

Thank you Van, you gracious lad. I almost feel guilty outqualifying Reckless being as he bought the beers today.

      Hey, I said "almost", eh?

          Congratulations to the top qualifiers

Finally a track surface that likes my P3's somewhat.

Oh, I'm happy to leave that role to Phil! He's obviously the class of this field.

                    In the qualifying order, maybe.

In the race? Who knows - is there even going to be a race?

I know everyone has a life outside slot racing, but the snail's pace of this GPR is not endearing itself to anyone. Is there ANY way we can pick up speed so we stand half a chance of getting our cars back before this time next year?

I'll get back in my corner now...

The next stop is my porch in the USA. The cars will be hand carried up to Bart's Wings und Wheels track, then to Area 51. That shouldn't take long. Then we declare victory and retreat like hell. Good thing no one is talking about a GPR '08!

Remember this? GPR at East New York, back when we were still young:

We do have a second race in Adelaide scheduled before the cars cross the ocean. I had forgotten about that! I hope we can get these races done in a timely fashion.

On the other hand, there is no 2008 GPR contemplated, so we don't need to worry about that (unlike the other proxy races, which all seem to be yearly).

So with two races in Oz, and two more in Ct, everybody should be home for Christmas!

Cool, I will look forward to having my Trophy on the mantelpiece, and contemplating the preceding season.

don't forget the Adelaide round will be on the dreaded ferrodore and you know how much you love that stuff
                              Cheers Alan

Dennis: Yes things are slow,we intend to try and run both races tonight!!! So I can get the cars off to Lenny this week. As you know I don't usually have this sort of problem down here but with abouy 70 proxy cars here at present things have caught up on me.
