      Quite a shake-up

It looks like this round has shaken things up a bit:

      In Prototype:

Tony K climbs over Dr Vanski for the lead
Robert moves up one at the expense of Gascarnut
Phil K jumps 4 spots after his big win
      KazooRacer drops a spot
      DaVols plummets by 3
      BigDSonic drops 1

      In GT:

      Top 3 retain their positions
Phil K climbs over Tony K for 4th
      Robert gains one spot
      Dr Vanski climbs 2 places
Reckless loses out by 3 spots
The Spirit Racer club gains one over PeteN95
      AtticRacer climbs above Austin

Phil, very interesting lap distances, especially compared to the laps done by the Down Under Proxy cars on your track last month. Was there much difference to the track conditions between both proxy series? I'm trying to compare apples with apples so I can get a better understanding as to how my car building skills stack up against the guys that are competing in the Canadian Proxy. By my reckoning (and only if track conditions were the same for both proxy rounds) at 103.6 laps my Down Under proxy car would have kicked some Nth American butt in both GT and Prototype classes.

I am so looking forward to the CPR next year.............

          Bionic Trigger Finger

Wow, Phil! That's a big effort to run so many cars in one sitting (standing?)!

What's up with my Porsche 936 down there, man? You must wonder the same thing about your car when its up here!?

Good racing with all you guys!

Don't forget that everything is backwards. Cars which are usually slow are fast, and vice versa. Where does that put your analysis?

                Tassie Round

Thanks guys, but the thanks must go to all the guys that ran the cars. It was a very long night but we wanted to try and catch up some time. The cars have left today for Adelaide!

I did not drive having cars in both class's and home track I thought would have given me a big advantage! many of the cars suffered from either lack of grip or tyres not glued onto the rims.
Most comments from the drivers was about lack of weight in many cars. Sports they run very light cars! I will send up some more info next week to help you with your CPR entry.

Pics and some more info over the weekend guys.

                Phil

                  Wet Cars

Here is a pic of Wets two cars that met up again here in Tassie.

The Falcon in the back ground is a resin I have cars and painet in Allan Moffat colours from 1971. Moff defected to Australia from Canada!

Drivers of the Prototype cars are Callan (Lewis)Thomas,Dave Schofield,Dave Gray and Bruce Thomas. Callan has only been racing about 8 weeks! Hence the lewis nick name.

Drivers for the GT cars are Dave Gray John Batich,Dave Schofield and Chris Priest. The two Daves are now complaining of sore fingers, don't know why.
