Congrats to Smokieo on the GT victory! I am still being "dawged" by Wayne, 10' down, 40'(?) to go! Looks like a showdown at Area 51!

Thanks guys (especially host Wayne) for another great race,

        JT

        • World Class Act! Fantastic job on your race production there, and all in an evening, unbelievable. Congrats to the podium guys, even the ones from Connecticut.
          A really great race!

          • Classic magnut racing photos. Those cars needed more VOLTS! Great to see those GT cars again!

            • Those magnut cars were surprisingly FAST at 10 volts. The cars that were stuck, were stuck and never came off and we never had to lift. Some needed to be driven but all seemed fast. Even at 10 volts we had some carnage when a car came off because they were still going so darn fast...

The racing format was 3 minute timed heats with cars racing in all lanes. In the magnut racing, drivers stayed with a lane but we rotated drivers every few heats. It the GT class, we assigned a driver to a car. I can assure everyone that except for Wayne, all of the drivers were well experienced and got the most out of each car. Specifically, Rich (I'm not a doctor but I did study proctology) D drove the wheels off of JT's car. It was hilarious to hear Wayne shouting out obscenities at Rich as Wayne could see his lead in the GPR diminishing!

There were a few cars that had inconstancies in qualifying and did show in the race. I was assigned Spirit Racers car and though I got a few fast laps in qualifying, I could not get it to run consistently in the race and had many embarrassing offs. Dennis's car did not seem to run as well in the race as in qualifying as it took the last lap in qualifying to get a good time and that showed in the race (sorry Dennis). Robert's car, Spirit Racer club car, Tony K's car all ran great!

At least your car and Mike's appeared to have round tires. Mine ran like they flatspotted on the journeys across the various continents. Still almost got ya and would have if Dr D had been distracted by my insults and if I could have unplugged his controller....just for a second...

                  • and if I could have unplugged his controller
It takes someone with a lot of nerve to pull this off (someone like Norman), so apparently you don't have it. You're no longer known as Dawgman to me. Now your "chicken-****"

                    • To be honest, I wouldn't pull out Dr D's cord. YOU NEVER KNOW HOW HE WILL REACT!

                      • A big thanks to "official JT Factory Driver" Rich D for ignoriing the hurled invective and staying ahead of Wayne, on his own track no less . (I think Rich drove my Sprite in one of the Shoreline VRAA rounds too .)

What a fun night of racing with a group of such well travelled cars. It was a real blast racing magnet cars again. Whether they were stuck like glue or needed to be driven they all kept us entertained. The non magnet cars were all so different with the track conditions but were all very interesting to drive and watch throughout the evening. Thanks for the opportunity to race your unique creations. Congratulations to the winners and to all of the other participants for a great series.

Great job with the race Wayne. Wayne never left the track during the race. He stayed glued to the track untill the end. While looking over the photo's of Wayne at the race you can not help but notice that Wayne had wet himself. That is dedication!!!!

                            • No one made it upstairs 'cept me so all I can assume is you p**d yo pants boy. Was that from laughing so hard or lack of control that comes with age??? And Dickie.....You can't call me chicken when you didn't even enter the race...you...you...chicken?!! CYA is setting up a perimeter around your house as we speak. They plan to hurl dead chickens and unplugged controllers at you when you try to leave....And don't try to cover up for Nahmie. He should have resorted to his usual nerfin' self for payback. His day will come...
Just sign me a proud member of CYA.

                              • Hi JT, in fact I drove your Sprite a number of times, but the truth is that the Corvette was a lot more fun. I ran your car through the first three rotations when the track was still a little loose, then rotated out for what seemed like an eternity. I rotated back in for the last heat by which time the grip was a lot better. Of course Smokeio attempted to distract me by asking endless questions while I was driving. It would have been interesting if we had been on the track at the same time. I did not get a chance to compare my lap times for the last heat with his a few heats back in the same lane. I did not fall off once in 12 minutes of racing. I only beat Wayne by two sections. I was kind of taking it easy when the track was still a little slick.
The magnet cars were wild, it took me back to a few years ago when we were still running heavy magnets. We had one heat where three of the guys could run flat out all around the track, so in fact only one guy was really driving. I noticed that some of the magnet cars would slow down if there was a long run without a track call.
