      Nice footage Steve.
Nice driving Steve. Now that I don't have to defend qualifying first, I can go about the business of attempting to hold off JT, Mike "Neener" Smokeio and the rest of the GT Gang. Wasn't Neener a character in Caddy Shack???

Well I am simply blowen away. I don't know if I will even be able to sleep tonight. After seeing the first 12 qualifying cars and me in third place, I figured that Steve just got one good lap out of my car, but now after watching the video and no offs, even if I don't do well in the race this has made my day.
I was just wounding if some of you great car builders out their might know why this car always fell in the last 3 or 4 places in the races, yet here it seems to be going great. I suspect it is the gearing ? or the flow of this track ?
Anyways Steve thanks for the great run. I sure would like to make the next NEC at area 51. I suppose that will be a couple of years from now, but maybe something will come up and I can get down their from Montreal before then.

        Thanks again

          Steve,

Impressive new standard in proxy host reporting: video and commentary. So good I don't feel (too) bad that Wayne outqualified me . With the big track and high speeds, hopefully Smokeio doesn't catch me too!

Brian, congrats on your cars success. The track is fast and smooth, how did your car do on the slippery Aussie?NZ track? Also check out the North East Slot Cars board for Northeast racing. There are some regional events coming up this winter and spring. You could probably link up with the Quebecois team or team up with NERF (my team).

Thanks J.T. the car did not well in any of races, always near the end of the pack, but as it was my first proxy I was just happy participating. Anyways this is a great way to finish off the series.
By the way does anyone know if the cars are going back to Roberts before they are sent home?
J.T. I was down to the NEEC in the summer and I follow the north east board all the time. However on that board I go under the name BGLIGHT. I guess I should not have changed when they revamp SCI 2 years ago. Sorry for the confusion. I hope to make NEEC 2008 again next summer and for sure the one in Quebec in the fall. Would like to make the January one but the weather is quite iffy around that time

I'll be taking the cars after the Area 51 race, and then I'll start sending them home. We have a pile of prizes to give out, which will be mailed with the cars.

Fantastic Video reviews, this is what proxy racing is all about!!

Still can't get over seeing the size of that track, in a basement no less.

Look forward to having my entry raked over the coals, ruthless commentary welcome. [not from Wet, or sundry others, just the hosts please ]

Great job, look forward to the race too!

Once again I did video commentary during qualifying - I will try to post the video sometime over the weekend.

The Jaguar #423 passenger side rear tire came off during transport. What is the correct rules protocol with respect to repairs??

If you can glue the wheel back on, please do so. If it looks like it needs a longer axle, and you have one handy, you may substitute it. The quality of the repair is up to you. At minimum, I ask that you re-glue the wheel.

There are no penalties for these kinds of minor repair, unless it breaks during the race, in which case it will lose the time taken to fix it, if it can be fixed at all.

Thank you! I always thought my Toyota Grp. 5 was a long-track car.

The GPR class is P or Prototype. Not exactly the same as LMP!
