I'll give you F1 but in GT..... you can't touch Porsche's overall wins.

Porsche Chad, these are the current proxy races for '07, based on SCI:
'60-'66 Sports, GT, and Prototype (Vintage RAA '07)
'67-'79 Sports, GT, and (Global Proxy Race or GPR '07)
'80-current Le Mans GT and Prototypes (RAA '07)
No one that I know of is now running an F1 Proxy, although I am sure the interest is there. If it were to start up in the late spring of '07, the GPR and RAA entrants would have time to prepare cars. It could be any era; 2.5L. 1.5 L, 3L, or current era.

Gpr 2007
Reckless,
Is the interior, of the 908, stock?
Did the HRS pose any troubles going on? If its not too secretive, could you post an under car pic with HRS installed and an under body pic, w/o HRS, showing the interior.
Thanks.
Terry

I don't have pictures of my Jagermeister team just yet but with the track coming down Saturday I need to wrap up testing and snap a few shots to post this week.
What is the prefered method to label/mark cars with their owner's name? I'm guessing some sort of silver sharpie or silver paint marker?

Hey Terry, I'm checking in from the Banff Springs Hotel ..... nice place, no slot cars though! Can't show you a photo of the 908 underpinnings, but I can tell you that the HRS was a tight fit and required judicious filing and grinding. I had to ditch most of the original interior. I took a photo of the original, printed it out to scale and glued it in, like a Ninco half pan interior. Then I glued the torso of the drivers figure on top, along with steering column and windscreen. Hope this helps!

Nice looking 'vette!
Here's my GT entry:
The car is modelled after the one I remember seeing run in Sports Car races in South Africa in the late 1960's, driven by Bob Olthoff. I have used a SLot-it HRS sidewinder chassis, that had to be shortened and narrowed some to fit, Slot-it v12/3 21K motor, BWA wheels and inserts, Ortmanns on the rear, Ninco classics up front, with a TSRF guide. Body is by Resilient Resins.

And here's the progress so far on my Protoype car:
Another Resilient Resins body, Lola T70 this time, to be painted probably in the Dan Gurney #30 Bardahl colors.
Underneath:
ProSlot Euro motor, Professor motor magnet just ahead of the motor, BWA wheels and inserts, Ortmanns and Ninco tires as usual, TSRF guide. The motor is an integral part of the chassis, with the axle tube soldered directly onto the back and the chassis soldered directly to the front of the can.Last edited by gascarnut; 07-02-2012, 08:56 PM.
