The PSCC No-Magnet Rules (Rev. 6.18.22)
Sec. I: General (Apply to All Cars)
Traction magnets must be removed from the cars. All other stock parts must be in their stock locations and working as intended. None of the original parts may be modified. The word “chassis” includes the main plate and the motor pod. Some additions and deletions are allowed, but if the rules don’t say you can do it, you can’t.
A. You CAN:
C. The rear spoiler must be in position at the start of the race.
D. The motor must be stock and clearly identifiable as the original equipment make and model. Any sign of tampering disqualifies the motor from competition.
Sec. II: Individual by Class
May supersede a general rule.
A. Group C
Sec. III: Technical Inspection
Each entry must also comply with the following dimensions measured on the tech block with the guide in the slot and the braid and all four tires contacting the block.
Sec. IV: Wheels and Tires
Tests have shown that presently available Thunderslot, NSR, and Paul Gage tires fit the cars and work very well on the track. The rear wheel and tire lists below give the allowed sizes of both.
NOTE: Wheel inserts are optional.

Modern GT (NSR)

A. You CAN:
- Use any rear wheels and tires listed below by class (the stock fronts stay). The front and rear tires may be glued to their rims, trued, and resized. The front tires may be coated with clear nail polish or super glue.
- Use any braid and any lead wires (only one lead per side).
- Replace any screw with a different type of similar size (e.g., Torx for Phillips).
- Use grub screws to adjust the front axle height if stock holes already exist for them.
- Tighten or loosen body and chassis screws to decrease or increase body and chassis movement.
- Add weight if it is firmly attached to the chassis inside the car.
- Repair stripped body posts with non-metallic materials (the length of the post must stay stock).
- Add or remove spacers on the guide shaft, axles, and body posts.
- Replace the stock guide with the alternate guide shown in the optional equipment chart below.
C. The rear spoiler must be in position at the start of the race.
D. The motor must be stock and clearly identifiable as the original equipment make and model. Any sign of tampering disqualifies the motor from competition.
Sec. II: Individual by Class
May supersede a general rule.
A. Group C
- Any Slot.it model of a Group C car (see the list below). Any rear fender skirts or wheel covers may be removed.
- If screws are used to set the front axle height, front axle blocks and bushings may be removed.
- Stock 9/28 Slot.it gearset, no minimum weight.
- Any Thunderslot model of a car from the SCCA Can Am series (see the list below).
- Stock 11/32 Thunderslot gearset, no minimum weight.
- Any NSR model of a GT car, 2011-present (see the list below). Sidewinder Shark 25 or 25 Evo motor only.
- Stock 11/32 NSR gearset, no minimum weight.
- Any NSR F1 86/89 car.
- Stock 10/27 NSR gearset, no minimum weight.
Sec. III: Technical Inspection
Each entry must also comply with the following dimensions measured on the tech block with the guide in the slot and the braid and all four tires contacting the block.
- The axle gear must clear the block by .015” and all other parts must clear by .032".
- Formula 1: The maximum width of the rear axle assembly (wheels + tires + axle) is 69mm.
- Can Am, Group C and Modern GT: No part of the rear axle assembly (wheels + tires + axle) is allowed to extend past a line perpendicular to the track surface at the widest part of the fender.
