      Thanks to the hosts.
      Congratulations to the step-standers.

Is there any feed-back from the drivers?

Hi all, been away from system, so did not even know this had started. Wish I had not even looked. What happened there then? Last. Gutted.
Well done to all that race and to the winning 3.

My best lap times at Cloverleaf in 1/32 cars

It was a great experience to drive in two of the RAA Classes at Cloverleaf on Saturday night. I drove the GT1 and the LMP classes and managed to break my previous personal track records with several of the cars I drove on Saturday. The good news is my driving skills are better than I thought which was confirmed by several sub 8.0 second laps and posting some of the fastest laps for some of the cars entered. However it did make me realize that my car set up skills are much worse than I previously thought.

I might have to Outsource my crew chief duties and concentrate on driving only if I want to become competitive in the Tuesday night Cloverleaf Points Series. Anyone interested in an outsourced crew chief position PM me.

When you find that crew chief let me know. We know who has consistently built fast cars in this series. I would love a weekend with them to pick their brains. It must be in the tire treatment. Saw a thread on truing Super Tires yesterday. Moby Dick said it takes over an hour where Robert says 15 min. Who's leading the pack????

Given the av. lap time v.s lap total= @10 mins for the cars, that's easy to see how it was derived.

The gap between fastest lap and the average is interesting, though not as ordered as final positions would suggest.

Could this be that some cars are easier to drive close to their maximum pace, albeit slower outright in terms of speed. Or did some of the faster and perhaps "twitchier" cars spend a little more time on their roofs?

A little more detailed feedback could prove instructive.

                            Chris

Haystack is correct about the fastest lap time and the average lap time. Basically the greater the gap between the two numbers the harder it was to drive. Average lap time will take into account the amount of time the car is not on the track (due to deslots, technical issues, etc). The average is for the entire race of the car (10 minutes). The race was 2 minutes per each of the 5 lanes - 10 minutes total. Easier to drive is better than faster speed. Fast and easy will be the car that wins. Hard to drive (because of traction, deslots, etc) will usually end up at the bottom.

The program (PC Lapcounter) gives much more information than what was posted. One of the features includes a breakdown of each heat; those cars that ran the same number of laps per heat/lane were easier to drive and those that had lap numbers that varied by more than 1 for any of the lanes indicates a concern.
