The spreadsheet I'm referring to is the one attached in message #15 of this post. Does it mis-align when you open it? Anyone else?

      Dan,

Your spreadsheet reads fine on my Mac. It looks like Diff's spreadsheet has you and Retro with the same SPx lap total of 102.2. Your spreadsheet has Retro at 93.5 laps. I quickly checked the other lap totals and they match spreadsheets. I'll ask Diff to check it out.

Your spreadsheet reads fine, although I liked the 102.20 better. Diff, in his weakened state must have copied it wrong. Don't worry, Diff, I know what it feels like to be a convalescing invalid. At least I get to drive my 1:1 car again on Monday. I've done my six weeks.

Fixed. My eyes aren't the same since my surgery. Anesthetic has messed with my vision slightly. Results fixed.

I didn't read the rules properly so the SPX car has a Proslot motor which has really strong magnets and great torque but won't really work at 10 volts - so good brakes - I'm surprised it even goes.

When I was building these two I was reminded of B Bira's habit of naming the team cars after twins. I thought in this case that the HP was rather feminine compared to the SPX so chose Artemis (Diana in Roman) and Apollo.

Mike - you are going to give us an education in both the classics, and motor racing history. "B Bira" - should I know who that is?

              Birabongse Bhanudej

              What?

              Who?

              Prince of Where?

Siam is a real place? Wasn't Yul Brynner king in that movie?

Very cool - love his own personal color Maserati!

Mike - Thanks for classin' up the joint!

PS. Checkin' out the Greeks next...
