Got my car and my swag. Thanks very much! It has been an enjoyable proxy and as I follow other proxies hoping to enter them, I see it is often a 'hurry up and wait' kind of experience. It seems all the participating track owners pretty much committed to run the cars and once they arrived, it was a priority to make the race happen, not sit on them and make excuses as to why they can't be run.

Anywho, you're saying a new proxy? Not mods to this proxy? Are you doing the New Proxy? Are you still going to do the Sprite proxy? Is the Sprite Proxy going down?

Come on JT - wandering minds need to know.... spill the beans already...

Mind you if I do not hear about VRAA cars soon I will be sorely tempted and probably justified. Just so great to see you guys get it all right.

Hi Charles,

USPS doesn't provide a tracking number at the rates used to ship the cars out. We discussed if it was worth the significant premium last year, and the consensus was to ship the cars back at $10 - $15 USD first class, versus $25+ Int'l Priority Mail. I do have the customs tag numbers, but was told those don't provide tracking info.

Charles - You weren't imagining things, I think it was Retro who asked as well. I sent him the customs number, only to be told at the post office the next day that it didn't help unless you wanted to report a missing delivery I believe!

My Sprite is home

Good news, my Sprite arrived back home in the UK yesterday. that's some quick shipping!

JT, the car was nicely wrapped thanks. The 'Returned Goods' messages did their job as it was not picked up by customs

Thanks for the prizes they will be very useful. Thanks also to the kind sponsors for supplying them, very generous.

Here's to the U13 challenge, I have my Renault Dauphine waiting in the wings for work to start on it, can't wait!

A gift package arrived yesterday, very nice, (that 13K motor that's turning 17.4K is going to come in handy ) thank you to all those who donated prizes! Good stuff.

Now for U13! Very exciting. As a host it's a blast to get together with my friends and run these little beauties!

Tracking?

That explains why the numbers you sent me won't track, eh?. I assumed it was flying under the radar. I'll just have to wait patiently for it, as well as my 13" wheel package from a certain well known supplier.

I have three outstanding slot car packages to come, so it will be like Christmas when they get here.
