Old Fly cars with sound

I have 2 of the cars with sound that Fly made about 20 years ago.

One of them still works fine, but the other runs, has lights, but no sound. I tried recharging the battery, but still nothing.

Any ideas on the problem or repair?

I have 1 of the white Porsche's. I think it's pretty cool. Unfortunately, I have no answer to your issue.
Have you checked for broken wires or tried a new battery? Maybe your old battery won't take a charge anymore.
Possibly there is a break inside of the charging wire. Wish I could be of more help.
