Fixing Cracked Hubs On Plastic Wheels

This tip is great for the new guy getting stared out, because of the money saved not putting aftermarket wheels on all the cars with broken hubs. If you run mag cars it will happen sooner or later. What I do for the smooth axle shafts is take a dremel or course sand paper and give em something for the glue to bite into. Now the next question is has anybody got an idea how to fix stripped grub screws on aluminum wheels?

OT but believe it or not one can get M2 Helicoil inserts! OK if you have a lot of wheels? But not necessarily cheaper than buying new.

Probably a 2.5 tap and some 2.5 screws?
