  • Circuit Sounds mixed up

    All:

I copied a Racer30.db file from my old XP computer running 29a4 (?) to a Win 10 computer running 31r1. I noticed that the Circuit sound assigned to the green starting light plays when the red starting light goes on, and vice versa. Is it possible that some database conversion needs to be done on my old database?

I started a new database “from scratch” on a different Windows 10 computer I had just installed UR30 31r1 on - the same thing shows up - the green starting light and red starting light sounds (Circuit configuration) are swapped. Has anyone else seen this in 31r1?

I went back to version 30r5, and it shows the same problem. Again, this happens with the “Standard” or “Fast” light settings. If I change to “5Lights”, then the sounds play in the correct sequence — I.e., the first sound at the first red light and the “green light or 3rd red” sound at the third red light. I guess not too many UR users use the red-yellow-green start light configuration…

I went further back and installed version 30r3. I tried the default and practice heat setups - in both cases the sound DID WORK AS EXPECTED - i.e, there was no swapping of the light 1 / green and light 3 / red sounds. So something happened between version 30r3 and 30r5.
