Time for a new Targa track

The Targa Burnaby will be disappeared next weekend, work has started on a new version.

I'm pre cutting some of the corners so once the track is gone there will be less down time. The new track should be about 90 ft in length and spacing will be 4" this time.
I'll post some pictures when there's more progress

Ha ha....I wondered when we'd see a new creation. Really looking forward to this Luf!

I think I still have a couple of tracks in me...

No, I meant, you make tracks so fast, I figured your new Targa would be done by now. ;-)

and I meant I'm getting old and creaky, and MDF used to be much lighter...

We still have a last race this Friday on the old track, the dust will start flying on Saturday

Luf, one of my most memorable slot days was that visit to your house a couple of years ago. Racing on the Targ was a wonderful experience. I count myself very lucky.
I am sure that what comes next will be another excellent track and I look forward to seeing it come together. Please post!

Here's a rough plan of the new layout...





Today I cut the banked part of the Karussell...




...and set it into the corner. I'll do the filling after all the slots are routed.




The Karussell will sit inside the big corner at the top of the paper model, it will help equalize the outside (longest) lane
