Years ago I had posted about Brooklands Speedway, but then in 2015 we moved to a different home, and all but one section of the layout was completely demolished to sell the old house. We moved into our current home late in 2015, but it was right around New Years of 2017 till we had finished off the basement enough that I could start on the new layout. The racing portion is four lanes, made up of Lionel and Atlas track. The city section is two lanes connecting some Lionel and Atlas with lock and joiner Aurora track. Most of this pandemic has been a time to really work on scenery for the HO layout. The build from the start can be visited at tinyurl.com/BrooklandsReese. One of the recent additions is Vinnie's Vintage Vehicle Village adjacent to The Moses Mission. I am currently building Candide's Camera, a photo shop in town.LRC-x21.IMG_3374.jpg Please let me know what you like, and suggestions for future projects.

Just thought you'd like to see my track. Starts on the following link at post 1025 and shows more stuff in the next few pages. I like tracks with realistic scenery, makes it feel like it's someplace rather than just a table top. That's what attracted me to your fine effort.

I have had the opportunity to visit Dave and turn a few laps on his track. The time, effort (and money!) he has put into all that construction -- not just of the track but the entire room -- has made it a showplace of his creativity. You can't help but be impressed.
It has been a long time since I have had a track with any scenery. I did once. And I am blown away -- I can deeply appreciate -- how much enthusiasm, love and care Dave put into his.
