One-off CAD-designed and CNC produced as a creative lift off of Watkins Glen.
Construction:
109’ lap length
Footprint: 34’ (end to end) x 16.5’ (driver’s station to bus stop)
Rockler assembly for glass-smooth joint transitions
Stainless Steel non-magnetic braid
Can be set up as a short course, or a long course with 2 section substitution
2 squeezes, (one at bus-stop, one in boot), with replacement, non-squeeze section variations
Optional pit road (provided)
Optional paddock area in the boot (provided)
Slots follow the racing line as opposed to being equidistant, even if over rumble strips.
Adjustable elevation legs can match Watkins Glen elevations (as shown) or not.
Electrics/Wiring:
Fully functional caution light system
Rolling start pace laps at reduced voltage (Pace car included)
Independent lane control easily adapted for timers used in track rental.
Wired to run in either direction with a flip of a switch
Optional night-lighting system (Included)
Timing/Scoring:
Trackmate, 3 power supplies, 3 monitors, keyboard, mouse included, already set up.
Driver stations:
Choke pots built in
Driver’s stations already set up in European rotation format
Décor:
People
Catch fences
Camera rigs
Jersey walls
One-off graphics, period and venue correct.
Shock absorbing guardrails with plenty of spares.
Without question, the most strategically competitive track on which I’ve ever raced. Although the Esses can be “flat-footed”, every other corner requires an understanding of the best handling strategy for that corner, proper car positioning and the understanding of how to “drift” through the 3 corners designed to accommodate it. SO many driving techniques can be applied, the reward you get from racing on this continues to develop the more you race on it!
