Track Boarders

I have Scalextric classic track. What can I use to make my own track boarders? I dont care for the scalextric boarders.

I cut my own using 12 x 24 sheets of.040 Evergreen Styrene. I explained how in my thread about my Steve McQueen Le Mans Tribute track.

I have used MDF the same thickness as the track and then painted to suit the track colour.

You can use anything! Just make sure the finished side is the same level as the track. Wood, MDF, fake wood, plastic of any kind, spray foam, spackel, sheetrock, rubber pad, etc.
