I bought an IR diode kit from TrackMate a while ago.
it came with four IR diodes and a Resistor (100 ohm).
I may have had a schematic on how it was to be wired, but I must have misplaced it?
I'm pretty sure it was to be wired with the provided resistor in series with the four IR diodes....

Sad News
Sad news from Professor Motor, Andy Smith has passed away:
Andy had been struggling in the last year or so, but very sad news to hear he passed away yesterday.
My thoughts are with Bonnie and Oliver.

THE CORKSCREW compatible with Scalextric – 3D printed track.
The pics above show a model of the Corkscrew corner at Laguna Seca Raceway. I designed the parts so they’d print on my Prusa i3 (build volume 250 x 210 x 210high). The parts then assemble to make 2 track pieces – an R2 turning left and an R3 turning right.

new to scratch building and cant find parma style guides and brushes
So I got some older brass chassis's from a guy in our club. I am in process of taking them apart and cleaning them up. I was told to replace the guides and brushes but cant seem to find any on professor motor's site. Is there another site in the USA that carries parts for these type chassis ?

Aurora Screechers guide pin trick
Not sure why Aurora named these cars after Tjets that need oil!?

SA Home Racing series
Recently bought this chassis with sprung motor pod kit.
Swapped out the metal chassis from my Z4. Really impressed with how the car runs, lighter, faster and hooked up on our 100’ wood track. Very quiet too!
Has anyone else played with this setup?...Last edited by Slot_it_Bob; 06-18-2022, 01:25 PM.

Carrera Go! Mercedes AMG GT3
I just purchased this car and tried it out on a friends routed 1/32 track. It runs pretty good right out of the box. We're thinking of getting some more to use as an IROC set. These cars look great and are very reasonably priced. Does anyone make silicone tires for these? Has anyone tried running...
